DeWitt Walton was the incumbent Democratic candidate for Allegheny County Council District 10 in the General election on November 7, 2023. Given the results of the May 2023 primary election and a challenge from independent candidate Carl Redwood, the campaign recognized that a strong performance driven digital program focused on vote-by-mail and GOTV was critical to success.
Fifth Influence authored the digital strategy, revamped the website, and produced all paid digital creative assets inclusive of search, Meta carousel and video ads, and over-the-internet (OTT) television ads. We trafficked the digital campaign, managed & optimized it throughout, and reported on KPIs weekly.
Thanks in part to our digital marketing strategy and efforts and even though he spent less than his opponent, Walton won the contest handily over his opponent, garnering 62% of the vote and winning 97% of the 138 precincts.
